Wimbledon is a suburb of London, situated within the London Borough of Merton. It is famous for the annual tennis tournament held at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. The area itself is split into two main town centres, Wimbledon (Town) and Wimbledon Village, with the latter sitting at the top of a hill.
The Wimbledon Windmill is a Grade II* listed windmill found at the heart of Wimbledon Common in South West London. The windmill was first constructed on the site 1818, although it has gone through a number of repairs since then. Since 1975, the windmill has been open as a museum to tell the story of the Wimbledon Windmill as well as windmills in general.
This limited edition print depicts the upper parts of the structure. A simple and limited colour palette is used to depict the windmill, allowing for the creation of a vibrant print suitable for any wall.
