The Crystal Palace transmitting station (known these days as Arqiva Crystal Palace) is a major South London landmark, thanks to its tower - the fifth-tallest structure in London. The tower itself was actually the tallest structure in London until the completion of One Canada Square (Canary Wharf) in the early 1990s. Situated at the north of Crystal Palace Park, the transmitter station sits on the site of an old aquarium, destroyed during the demolition of the Crystal Palace's north water tower.

This limited edition print from the South London Prints collection is the third transmitter print that we have designed, demonstrating the popularity of the structure. It is presented with a limited colour palette and unique, bold and modern style.
