This art print by Place in Print depicts the 2009 Stock London Underground train, used on the Victoria Line. There are currently 47 sets of these trains on the Underground network, all consisting of 8 cars.

These side-on views depict the full length of each train car, including the front and back, and have been designed to be an accurate representation of the real-life trains.

The perfect gift for the train-lover in the family, each section of the train can be ordered as a separate fine art print. Make up your own combination of prints to create as long a train as you like, using your favourite sections of each type of train. Our full range of Transport Sections can be found here.

Size Guide

Print: 200mm x 400mm
Frame: 230mm x 430mm

Framing

Take the hassle out of your print purchase by buying it ready-framed in one of our made-to-measure picture frames. Framed prints are dispatched just as quickly as unframed prints.

1. Pick a Frame

Pick from a choice of white, black or natural/unpainted frame colours. Our frames are made from wood from sustainable sources. The white and black frames have a smooth coating (no wood grain visible).

2. We Frame Your Print

Your print will be framed for you and quality-checked to ensure that it looks perfect before being sent out to you.

3. Delivered Safe and Sound

We package framed prints very carefully using a system of cardboard boxes and protective packaging before sending them out to you. In the unlikely event that your frame is damaged in transit, we'll replace it - no problem!

Printing Process

To produce our fine art giclée prints, we employ a specialist process which combines pigment inks with archival paper. This unique combination allows us to use vibrant colours which won't fade.

1. Ink

Tiny dots of ink are sprayed over the paper, colour-matching the on-screen design as closely as possible.

2. Paper

A thick, slightly off-white soft textured archival paper is used to give a sense of depth to the artwork.

3. Authenticity

We hand emboss many of our prints, and our limited edition prints are also hand numbered and titled, adding authenticity to your purchase.
