Streatham Hill Theatre
Celebrate one of South London's finest surviving theatres in style with this limited edition art print of Streatham Hill Theatre. Currently occupied by Beacon Bingo, the building was constructed in 1929 to the designs of W Sprague and W Barton. Despite being destroyed by a bomb in 1944 (and subsequently rebuilt to the same designs), it is in remarkably good condition today, with many of the original features still in situ.
While the future of the building remains in doubt, hopefully the facade will always be retained, as it offers a massive contribution to the architectural interest of the Streatham High Road.
A must-have for Streatham residents past and present, bingo fans, or followers of W Sprague, this Streatham print is sure to stand the test of time thanks to its simple, bold colour palette. Available ready-framed in a choice of frame finishes, or unframed ready for your own frame, this Streatham fine art giclee print will be a great addition to any mantel.
