This view of the City of London is depicted from a vantage point on top of Blythe Hill Fields (or Blythe Hill), a small park located near to Honor Oak Park and Forest Hill in South East London. It was opened as a public park in 1935, and is an area of archaeological priority. The park benefits from fantastic views towards Canary Wharf, the City of London and out towards Kent and Surrey.

The view towards The City is the subject of this piece by South London Prints. The view takes in a number of skyscrapers in the City, including the distinctive 'Gherkin'. The print's bold colours make it a popular print, for those living in South London, as well as those just wanting a view of London.

Framing

Take the hassle out of your print purchase by buying it ready-framed in one of our made-to-measure picture frames. Framed prints are dispatched just as quickly as unframed prints.

1. Pick a Frame

Pick from a choice of white, black or natural/unpainted frame colours. Our frames are made from wood from sustainable sources. The white and black frames have a smooth coating (no wood grain visible).

2. We Frame Your Print

Your print will be framed for you and quality-checked to ensure that it looks perfect before being sent out to you.

3. Delivered Safe and Sound

We package framed prints very carefully using a system of cardboard boxes and protective packaging before sending them out to you. In the unlikely event that your frame is damaged in transit, we'll replace it - no problem!

Printing Process

To produce our fine art giclée prints, we employ a specialist process which combines pigment inks with archival paper. This unique combination allows us to use vibrant colours which won't fade.

1. Ink

Tiny dots of ink are sprayed over the paper, colour-matching the on-screen design as closely as possible.

2. Paper

A thick, slightly off-white soft textured archival paper is used to give a sense of depth to the artwork.

3. Authenticity

We hand emboss many of our prints, and our limited edition prints are also hand numbered and titled, adding authenticity to your purchase.
