It is home to the Dulwich Picture Gallery as well as Dulwich College (both of which feature in other work by South London Prints).
Dulwich Picture Gallery
The Dulwich Picture Gallery can be found in Dulwich, South London. The art gallery was designed by Sir John Soane, and is the oldest public art gallery in England. The view depicted in this print is of the mausoleum, in which are buried Sir Francis Bourgeois, Noel Desenfans and his wife. Bourgeois and Desenfans were responsible for the construction of the gallery, as well as the acquisition of a large proportion of its collection.
This limited edition print of the Dulwich Picture Gallery by South London Prints is a study of the gallery's influential architecture. Only 50 of these prints have been created, making it one of South London Prints' rarer pieces.
