Place in Print stocks a variety of Clapham themed prints, posters, books, maps, homewares, clothing and gifts. Clapham is an area of South West London, mostly within the borough of Lambeth. The area is well known for its 220 acre common, as well as Clapham Old Town and Abbeville Village. The area benefits from strong transport links thanks to the Northern Line of the London Underground running through the area.
Clapham Common Station
Once the terminus of the City & South London Railway, Clapham Common Station was opened in 1900. It's one of only two London Underground stations left with a central island platform. It's also a great architectural feature of Clapham, with its domed entrance easily recognisable.
This limited edition Giclée print by South London Prints celebrates the history and style of the station, using a simple palette of bold colours. There are only 200 copies of this print available, and it can be bought with or without a frame.
