Dulwich Hospital was constructed in 1887 on East Dulwich Grove. During the First World War, it played an important role as a military hospital, and during that time between 14,000 and 15,000 wounded soldiers were treated there. Since then, much of the original hospital has been demolished, apart from the entrance block, and the hospital is now known as Dulwich Community Hospital.

This limited edition artwork by South London Prints depicts the original entrance block. The building's ornate architectural style is reflected in the print, with a simple colour palette reflecting the building's materials.

Your print will be framed for you and quality-checked to ensure that it looks perfect before being sent out to you.

3. Delivered Safe and Sound

We package framed prints very carefully using a system of cardboard boxes and protective packaging before sending them out to you. In the unlikely event that your frame is damaged in transit, we'll replace it - no problem!

Printing Process

To produce our fine art giclée prints, we employ a specialist process which combines pigment inks with archival paper. This unique combination allows us to use vibrant colours which won't fade.

1. Ink

Tiny dots of ink are sprayed over the paper, colour-matching the on-screen design as closely as possible.

2. Paper

A thick, slightly off-white soft textured archival paper is used to give a sense of depth to the artwork.

3. Authenticity

We hand emboss many of our prints, and our limited edition prints are also hand numbered and titled, adding authenticity to your purchase.

Delivery & Returns

Whether you're buying a framed print or a greetings card, we aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible (1-3 days).

Standard UK Delivery

Prices start from £1.00 (see full price list), but currently free for all orders. The majority of orders are sent by Royal Mail 48, and should arrive 2-3 working days after dispatch.

Express UK Delivery

Prices start from £1.75 (see full price list). The majority of these orders are sent by Royal Mail 24, and should arrive 1-2 working days after dispatch.

International Delivery

Prices start from £6.95 (see full price list). Delivery times vary depending on destination, but are usually a maximum of 7-10 working days after dispatch. We use acrylic glazing for framed prints in order to minimise the risk of damage in transit.

We offer a no-quibble returns policy
If for any reason you wish to return your order, all you need to do is let us know within 14 days of receipt of the order. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us. Once we have received your item, we will either issue a refund to you or exchange your purchase as requested.
