Here at Place in Print HQ, we've been slowly amassing a rather large collection of 30x40cm white and black frames which are near-perfect, but not quite good enough to send out to customers. We've decided to offer these frames for sale to our online customers for the first time.
What to Expect
Our discounted frames are the same size and style as the majority of frames we use for normal orders. However, occasionally frames are shipped to us with one or more of the following defects:
- Marks or small dents to the frame moulding;
- Small scratches, or imperfections to the frame glass;
- Slight splits or minor damage to frame corners; and
- Minor discolouration or markings to frame paint.
Nearly all of the defects are incredibly minor, and you might not even notice them. When we send out online orders we only send out frames that are as close to perfect as possible. These perfectionist tendencies result in us discarding frames that would almost certainly be acceptable, but it's just not worth the risk to us in terms of our reputation or shipping costs.
How to Order
Find the product(s) you wish to buy, and add the unframed or mounted print(s) to your basket (If a mounted option is available, select that. If you only see unframed or framed options available, select unframed).
Then head to this page to add the discounted frame(s) to your basket. As this offer is only available for purchases with prints, please only add as many frames as prints you have ordered. If you add too many frames to your order (i.e. more frames than unframed prints), we will reduce the number of frames to the correct number and issue a refund for any price difference.
Check out as normal. We will use a discounted frame with your order.
If you want to order a mixture of normal and discounted framed prints, please feel free. For the print(s) that you want framed as normal, make sure you add a framed version to your shopping basket. We'll then be able to tell the difference between that print and the unframed one bought alongside a discounted frame. If in doubt, get in touch.
What's the Catch?
The only catch is that we won't be able to accept return or refund requests for frame quality-related reasons.
